ABOUT ANNA
Anna is a professional cyclist for Jumbo Visma Women's Cycling Team. She is the current British Time Trial champion. She has previously won the U23 British Road Race and Time Trial, along with the Elite Criterium Championship.

Anna started cycling in 2015 after crossing over from a different sport, alpine skiing. She was a national champion and European Youth Olympian. However after fracturing her leg in March 2015, this lead her to start using cycling as a form of rehab. After convincing her mum to let her ride the London Velodrome in October of 2015, she quickly got the bug for bike riding. After buying her first track bike from her local bike shop, Lovelo Cycleworks, she started her first races in 2016 under their guidance and friendship. Every year she continued to develop fast under the guidance of Simon Howes at Cycle Team Onform (now CAMS-Basso), and within a couple of years was winning national titles in cycling.

A fantastic 2019, filled with UCI podiums and domestic success, led to Anna signing her first professional contract with Team Sunweb for the 2020 season. After a challenging year with the Covid-19 pandemic, Anna signed with Team Jumbo Visma for 2021, where she had a stand out year for the Dutch outfit. She has signed with the team until then end of 2024.

As a child Anna was extremely sports driven, and energetic. Competing in skiing, tennis, netball, hockey, swimming, ice skating gymnastics and dance. She believes the variety in her childhood has made her the sportswoman she is today.

Away from cycling, Anna enjoys spending time in her VW camper van, seeing friends, hanging out with her two cats, spending time with her family and boyfriend and eating vegan food!
